As a Tampa wedding coordinator, I always get asked 2 questions.
The first, what do you do?
With time and experience, I’ve learned that as the bride, you don’t want the basic checklist of what I will do on your wedding day. What you need to know is, what I am going to do specific to you on your special day?
My job or tasks may change from wedding to wedding. This is why it is so important for you to sit down with a wedding planner or coordinator and to talk about what makes your wedding special? What are the special details that excite you and your fiancé? How are you incorporating your family in the ceremony or reception?
The answers to these questions change from wedding to wedding which makes the “what do you do” question change from bride to bride.
If you have a lot of unique details in your wedding, make sure you find a Tampa wedding coordinator that will work with your vision instead of trying to fit you into a box with other brides.
However, there is one major thing that I do as a wedding coordinator and that leads to the 2nd question.
The next question I get asked is, how do you get ready for my wedding day so I don’t have to worry?
This question comes in many shapes and sizes, but it all boils down to the same thing, what do I need from the bride make sure the ceremony location is setup, the reception location is setup, the vendors know where to setup, to answer questions from the wedding party regarding the wedding day timeline and so much more.
I make this process as simple as possible.
First, I meet with the bride or couple about 1 month before the wedding. I get all the information for vendors, venues, bridal party, and any other detail I have not received yet. During this meeting, we will get down to business, but I will also keep it light.
After our meeting, you won’t have to call to confirm details with your vendors. Instead, they will call me.
Same goes with your venue. If a vendor needs venue details, they can just contact me instead of having to reach out to you.
In short, you can relax the entire month before your wedding.
I’ll still touch base with you if your vendors or venue requests changes. Just imagine how much you will be able to enjoy your wedding without having to focus on your vendors and timeline?
That’s what I offer to every bride and it starts with those 2 questions as a Tampa wedding coordinator.
